I was to Thank Mr. Dave for coming the Florida and doing my home inspection. He is very very precise with his inspections. He makes sure he doesn’t miss anything. Even if you might’ve forgotten something to point out he have already coughed it for you. He explains clearly what he’s doing and going over every detail and answer all your questions. Than gives you a full report of it all that very understandable to read. I learned a things that the builder took short cuts and tried to hide that would cost more damage and money in the long run of my home.He is a great guy that well get the job done. I recently purchased a manufactured home and wanted to have it verified and inspected before moving in and taking ownership of it. I did my research on inspectors and discovered that in Georgia, the requirements of becoming an inspector are virtually zero. Google "how to become a home inspector in georgia" and you will learn that getting training is not mandated, taking an exam is optional, and really the only thing that an inspector "should do" is get insurance. So right off the bat, that more or less wiped out 95% of the inspectors in South GA and so I decided to find someone who was licensed in FL since FL does not play around and they require 120 hours of training plus passing a state exam, and a full background search. Upon doing that, I discovered David and Next Step Inspections. He came out and performed the inspection and not only did he go more in-depth with his inspection than I was expecting, but he found things that would have cost me thousands and thousands of dollars later when they reared their ugly head in the form of mold and settling and a few other issues. I cannot express how happy I am that I found David and not only was his rate extremely affordable but the amount of money and aggravation he saved me was something I cant even quantify. If you want the short version: David holds a FL inspectors license which is what you want since the GA one comes in a Cracker Jack box. He also will go above and beyond and save you far more than the small amount he costs. This is the guy you want to hire.
